Med School Prom 2011

The first time that I wrote about Nathan was in the entry about Med School prom 2009.

Last night, we attended our third and final Med School Prom.  2011.  At least, we hope this is the last one! (We're pretty much counting on Nathan graduating at this point!)

The event was at the Cincinnati Music Hall downtown. We went with some great med school friends: Vic, Brenyn, Mike and Vita.  The dinner was great, the dancing was better, the company was the best. :)

We are lucky that these friends will be joining us for our wedding too.  Mike is one of Nathan's groomsmen and Vic, Vita, and Brenyn will all be special guests. The dancing will continue at the wedding! I'm so lucky to have met them and to have become friends with these people.

In retrospect, I'm glad that I said "yes" to Nathan's random question two years ago.  "Aimee, do you have a dress?"  :)  That was his way of asking me to the first prom.  I risked it and came down to Cincinnati for a three day weekend.

That was my first trip down.  I've been driving back and forth ever since, and I wouldn't have it any other way. 

I'm thankful for med school prom.  It's brought us together each year, and it's given us plenty of fond memories!
