I'm looking for any of you "in the now" consumers who have moved on from portable CD players to iPods! :)
As you all know, I LOVE teaching kindergarten! My kindergarten kids are working on a research project about bears. The problem is, kindergarten kids don't exactly have the literacy skills to fluently read non-fiction books.
Miss Bosworth's Solution: Read the books, record the reading, burn it onto a CD. Kids can use their own personal CD player to aide their research! Children can listen to pertinent parts of the book. This way they can feel success with reading the book, while still gaining information about bears!
I'm writing this to BEG for any friends who are willing to donate their old portable CD players to Miss Bosworth's kindergarten kiddos.
