EXTRA Special Apple Pie


So. Have you ever spent upwards of an hour and a half making a homemade apple pie from scratch? And when you were doing that, did you accidentally put the crumble topping on the pie approximately 40 minutes too early?

Well, I have.

Then I proceeded to scoop the crumble topping back off. Bake the pie for the remaining 40 minutes, make a new batch of crumble stuff (thanks Erin), re-top the pie and finish the baking. :) Just call me Betty Crocker.

The long and the short of it is that the pie turned out to be delicious.

Instead of the deemed name "Special Apple Pie" , I consider this pie to be my "Extra Special Apple Pie."
