Plain Local Students come back to school on August 26th.
Plain Local Staff comes back to work on August 20th.
Plain Local Kindergarten teachers come back to school on August 4th. :)
It's definitely exciting pulling everything off of shelves and out of cupboards and tubs. Taping, cutting, laminating, hanging, stapling, organizing, cleaning, moving, climbing, coloring, labeling, filing... you name it, I did it! :)
I am in charge of two classrooms. I plan for both rooms, all day, everyday. My room is completely set up. I'm waiting to find out who will be hired to work as my teaching assistant in the adjoining room. Until then, that room is my baby too.
In other words...
One down. One to go.
Oh yeah, and bulletin boards too! Ours will say "We're a Scooper Bunch!" We're making ice cream cone art on Day 1. We'll graph our favorite ice cream, and (if Miss Bosworth can pull it off), we'll eat ice cream in some form on our first day together! :) I'll post pictures as it all falls into place.
