Move in day.

Well, we all know that yours truly ended up in tears on move in day.  But, prior to the final goodbyes to our families, I kept it together pretty well. :)

The movers were worth every penny! I'm nearly positive that we couldn't have done it alone. We packed up our lives, entirely! Nathan's apartment, my house, our wedding gifts (which as it turns out took up a good chunk of Mom and Dad's house) and my classroom.  By Saturday afternoon, we had nearly everything ready to go. The movers visited three houses to load one BIG truck with all of our things.  It took them about 5 hours just to load up. Imagine that!

After everything was loaded up, we headed to Erie.  We got here on Saturay night with time to head to Sara's for dinner.  Yummy burgers, dogs, and fries! Nathan insisted on staying in the house for our first night so after a long Saturday of work we had a dreamy night's sleep on an air mattress.  Be jealous!

Sunday morning the movers were here with the truck around 9:30.  They unloaded much quicker, it only took three hours.  :)

We spent every minute cleaning, unpacking, and organizing.  Really, we haven't stopped since then! 


But, in the mean time, we took a mini break for a quick honeymoon! Sunday night, after a long weekend of work and an emotional goodbye, we parked ourselves in a Starbuck's to borrow their free WiFi. By 8:30PM we were booked for a trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico. By 6AM on Monday, we were GONE!
