4 days + no power = no fun!
The Browns game on Sunday night was windy and fun. Coming home to a massive power outage...not so much fun!
You get pretty creative without cable, internet, or lighting. I invested in a nice flashlight (I should've had one anyway). I bought a big pack of D batteries (not cheap!), and I ate out A LOT!
I emptied the fridge...tomorrow I'll go grocery shopping to replace everything that was in my fridge. If I'm guessing correctly, condiments, lunch meat, cheese, dressing, milk, juice, etc....those things will add up!
It's interesting sitting in the dark...the light switches really don't work, no matter how many times you try them! :)
I could have been a lot worse. We're lucky that this is all we had to deal with.
I'm thankful to have lights again!
