Pigs...

Apparently I've been recruited to roll pigs every year from now until forever!

Beth and AJ had a new year's party. I volunteer to big pigs in a blanket. I was so excited to learn the family tradition. Aunt Missy and Uncle Doug took GREAT care of me! They had everything ready to go. I learned how to mix the meat, add the spices, core, steam, shave, and cut the cabbage, and finally...roll the pigs!

I got the hang of it! I took 20 home and cooked them in Aunt Missy's roaster. Then I took them over to the party! I came home with about 15 left over. I've been giving them away as much as I can... :)

Now that I've learned, I'm required to help for years to come! I was really glad to be "let in" on some of the family secrets. I guess from now on, you know where to come on New Year's Day!
